Gallery2 Integration test

Europe 2006

We went to Europe earlier this year. Here is an album containing the best of the pictures I took.

Is St. Petersburg in Europe? These days I think it is :)

Enjoy!

The return of Blosxom

Way back when, in the days before WordPress or Web 2.0, I was running a blog engine called Blosxom on an iMac in my house. It was my first blog and I still remember it fondly. I had to shut it down, though - we were moving and I needed to sell the server.

But I now have a server it will run on, so this evening I brought it (mostly) back online. It looks like I didn’t keep some of the external content (pictures, mostly).

Anyway, you can check it out here.

Someday this will hopefully all get migrated into the WordPress database so it will show up in the new format. In the meantime, it’s back. Y’all can thank me later.

New home of learn-something!

Hi all! I’m entering the brave new world of hosted web servers!

So far my host (Dark Horizons) has set me up with a web server running WordPress blogging software. I have gone in and installed Gallery2 myself, which was very straightforward. It feels funny to be installing software on a server in San Francisco while I’m sitting in Las Cruces, but that’s what I’m doing.

Check out my photo gallery here.

At the moment there’s only a lame set of photos of my project to rewire the swamp cooler on our roof, but soon there will be better things to see.

When schoolwork permits, of course.
