Being the space nut that I am, I bought a slot on the first launch out of the New Mexico Spaceport (now called Spaceport America) for one of my business cards, courtesy of ZG Aerospace.
First problem: I don’t have any business cards. Solution: iPrint.com. I was super impressed with how easy it was to create full-color cards, using the background picture in the header at the top of this page.
Second problem: the rocket didn’t make it into space and crashed in the mountains. Solution: deal with it. At least I’ll get my mostly-intact card back.
You can see it in the International Space Registry by clicking here.
I don’t know who set the value at $500, or why. It’s not for sale.
ZG isn’t yet accepting orders for the next flight - I think they took a big hit when this launch didn’t succeed. I hope they make it. Regardless, I’ll try to have something of mine in the next flight out that accepts business cards.
