The primary reason for this site is the documentation of the conversion of my 1971 Karmann Ghia into a fully battery-powered car. Look for it under the “Ghia EV” tab.
What’s with the name?
“Gdunge” is a Don Martin sound effect. I believe it’s from “The MAD Adventures of Captain Klutz” but I’m not sure. I’ve always used it as an alias in chat rooms, online games, etc. I needed a domain name, and it wasn’t taken. Hopefully I will Google-own the word before too long.
Technical Details
gdunge.com is hosted by DarkSky Hosting. It is powered by WordPress 2 and Gallery2. I had two earlier versions, the first hosted on a Mac at home running Blosxom, and the second hosted on .Mac. I managed to port the Blosxom site here, but the .Mac site is still at large and resisting capture.
