The heater under discussion and its box. It's a Maxi-Heat 1500W from Home Depot. 120VAC, 12.5A, 60Hz. Home Depot web site part number is 164150.

The heater stands a little over 8 inches tall. It has an inconvenient curved shape.

Remove four screws and the front comes off. The screen is painted metal.

The black plastic that holds in the ceramic element is rather brittle. It must be very heat-resistant - the PTC slabs are right behind those four vertical strips.

The back of the fan is visible through the heater element. Note the inconvenient shape of the front part of the black plastic - it's not square anywhere.
